Sean Paul Featuring On Jay Sean Next Single ReleasePosted: 23rd Nov 2009 London born, Jay Sean made history when his single “Down” became the first song by a British Urban Artist to top the charts in American. The single not only went to Number 1, it also went double Platinum in America. Jay Sean’s achievements have been even more impressive considering he did this as an independent artist under his own record label, Jayded Records. However earlier this year, Jay Sean signed to Cash Money Records in America and that is where he started to work on his new album. With his new Album ‘All or Nothing’ due for release worldwide on November 30th, the second single to be released from his upcoming album features collaborations from Dance Hall artist Sean Paul and Hip Hop rapper Lil' John, both are featured on the new US single 'Do You Remember?' The track already looks like it’s going to be a hit for Jay Sean after debuting in the US iTunes top 15 after one day of being released. Jay Sean recently said that his second single featuring Sean Paul is largely due to their meeting last month on the 2009 MTV Video Music Award ceremony. "On the red carpet, doing an interview," he recalled. "Sean Paul is over there and he goes, 'Yo! Yeah man, Jay Sean!' And I said, 'Hi Sean ... Paul.' This was the first time I'd ever met him. And he just said, 'Me and you need to work together.' Two days later I called him and sent him the track, and sent it back to me the same day — and he was in Jamaica." Even though Jay Sean has disappeared overseas he has not forgotten his UK fans - London grime crew, Boy Better Know feature on 'Stay' and former Sugababe Keisha Buchannan duets on 'Far Away.' The album also includes collaborations with Chipmunk and Craig David. Jay Sean will be back in the UK in November when he performs at 1Xtra's live event in Sheffield on 28th November alongside the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Chipmunk and Chase and Status. Jay Sean releases his new album 'All Or Nothing' on November 30th through Jayded/Cash Money Records. Written By: Nadia Auckburally
