Soca Music Awards

This year will see the 2^nd Annual Soca Music Awards on the 27^th of September 2009, hosted by Martin Jay of Choice FM.

The Soca Music Awards will honour the hard-working producers, writers, arrangers and performers of Soca and calypso. It’s going to be a long-overdue chance for everyone who loves the music to salute its great achievers, from the pioneers to up-and-coming artistes.

The Awards will feature a host of celebrities and supporters of Caribbean music, art and culture. As well as performances by UK and International Soca artistes.

This year Tempo Radio has been nominated for the second year running in the category of “Best UK Soca Radio Station” award. Tempo Radio is currently an award winning station having won the “Best UK Soca Radio Station” award last year; we are hoping to keep hold of this title.
