Macka Diamond in New Movie “Redemption of Paradise”

A new Caribbean film production company, I&I Entertainment will release “Redemption of Paradise” this September 15^th 2009. With the launch already planned in Jamaica for August 19^th 2009. "Redemption of Paradise" is a direct to DVD and online release and will be available in retail stores.

The soundtrack includes title track "Paradise Redemption" featuring Tarrus Reily, Lady G, Barbie, and the films star dancehall sensation Macka Diamond.

Macka Diamond will debut in her first film, taking on a lead role in this new gritty, action packed movie. Set in the fictional island of Paradise, Millie the character played by Macka Diamond takes a stand against the corruption that is infesting in her hometown. As the story unfolds it reveals a horrible twist and all begins to unravel.  The Antiguan film was produced by Dr Howell’s film company Colour Bars Film Production. The film was mainly filmed in Antigua featuring stars from across the Caribbean.

An international crew was flown in to coordinate stunts, from car chases and explosions to cinematography. Redemption of Paradise is set to keep everyone on the edge of their seats this summer, with its action packed scenes and great storylines. You have to wait just a few more days for its release.
