Soca Xplosion

Ever fancied yourself as a music producer then look no further!

This Soca & Calypso construction kit gives you the basics such as drum loops, bass guitars, brass, guitar, keys, steel drum, melodies and more.

I thought that it was a great introduction into producing music, as I have never done anything like that before and I found that it was very easy to use and highly entertaining.

I tried this particular Soca kit on my MacBook, using the Garageband software. I spent a while exploring and listening through the various authentic Soca sounds, before finally dragging each audio file into place on a timeline, building up the layers as I went along to produce what I would consider as “not a bad first attempt of a Soca tune”!

I would recommend Soca Xplosion to everyone, from absolute beginners to the more experienced. If you get the hang of it then you can get more creative and start adding vocals and other samples to really make a full blown song.
