What originally hooked you into the DJing scene?
I was unhappy at the range of songs being played.
Your musical influences?
Old school R&B and lots of soca.
What type of music do you specialise in?
Soca.
Most expensive vinyl/cd that you have paid for? - how much was it?
Probably £10 but that’s the cost of most of my cd’s.
What is your most treasured tune and why?
Dushi by Edwin Yearwood. It just hits all the right spots and is definitely a party starter.
What clubnights have you played at?
Release D Riddim at Corks.
soca music scene - what do you think about it?
It’s changed a lot since I started but the crowd is still enthusiastic and as the music changes, so do people’s taste. I think it still has a long way to go.
Have you got any DJ’ing horror stories?
Yes, as do most cue a song and in my headphones hear the perfect mix, only to learn I’ve left it muted.
Where would be your ultimate DJ’ing location - home and abroad?
Insomnia Trinidad. The vibe is just so ripe and I’d love the chance.
